How to delete images from wallpapers and gallery?

As I read the manual (actually stooped that low), it indicated to use the Download App to delete images in the Wallpapers and Gallery that had been downloaded -- I did that and the images were still in the Wallpapers and Gallery and when I used the Download App next time, it indicated there were no downloads. I connected the Galaxy to my computer via USB and downloads were empty but I could not access the Gallery or the two Folders containing Wallpaper (regular wallpaper and live wallpaper).

Therefore, how is it possible to delete images in the Wallpaper, Live Wallpaper, and Gallery since the download app does not do the job?

Suggestions/solutions??

Thanks,

MikeSp

If you're referring to the stock images that come preloaded on the Tab, those can only be deleted if you're rooted. For images you have downloaded, and are showing up in your gallery, you can either long press on the thumbnail until it is highlighted and select the trash can icon in the upper right corner, or view the image and select the same trash icon

I knew that the stock images were permanent but I had downloaded a half dozen live wallpapers from the Android Apps Store, didn't like them after trying them out and found that I could not delete them.

When I plugged the Galaxy Tab into my computer and it sync'd, it downloaded hundreds of songs and wallpapers  -- was able to delete everything while connected to the computer except for the non-stock live wallpapers which makes me a little paranoid about downloading any others in fear that they will also take up permanent residence.

If it is something you downloaded from the market, you should be able to uninstall from the market as well. Open up the market, select "my apps" and then select the particular live wallpapers and uninstall. You can also go into Settings>Applications>Manage applications and do the same from there

Does anyone know in which folder those wallpapers are located? I can't seem to find them.

I have also had the same issue, but no one seems to have an answer. I have photos I have tried to save to my gallery that came to me via text. Instead of saving to my regular photo gallery they saved to my wallpaper gallery and I would like to know how to delete them or at least move them to my regular photo gallery.

I have the HTC Desire 610. I couldn't delete a wallpaper; so I replaced it with my original one. I went to Settings
> Personalize> Choose Wallpaper> HTC Wallpapers. I tapped my original wallpaper; tapped Apply at the bottom of the screen, and waalah, back in business. Hope this helps.
