How To Delete Individual "Local Contacts"

Cannot remedy this situation, I just purchased the HTC Desire 626s over the weekend. I manually added my phone contacts under the tab "People" with no problem. It's when I go to text a message and pull up the contacts to add it's not only showing my "People" but a section under starts another list "Local Contacts". Unfortunately there are 3 that I need to get rid of and have tried everything I could. Went to my Google account online, I have nothing--these are very old and cannot understand how or where they're coming from. Would appreciate any help at this point it's driving me crazy.

Was able to finally find the fix. It was coming from Google somehow. Went to Apps> People>Phonebook and re-checked Google, then went to Phonebook drop down Menu which pulled up the Local Contacts>touch highlighted and was able to manually delete the 3 entries. My old LG was less complicated.
