How to delete word from dictionary?

I keep trying to delete words from my dictionary that are misspelled and certain words won't delete. Normally if I long press on the word it will give me the option to remove it from the dictionary but on certain words it doesn't give me that option, all I get are options to cut, copy, look it up in the dictionary excetera. I really don't want to delete the entire dictionary and start over if I don't have to. Any ideas? I'm using the Samsung keyboard on a Samsung Galaxy S8+. Thanks.
