How to dial ##3282# on cm 6.1.2?

Reboot or restart the phone and it should start working again. It happens to me sometimes... and yes, it does work for non-rooted phones too.

Huh?...

I was saying before flashing anything restart the phone first.

My last comment meant that - the steps work on both rooted and non-rooted devices. I've read in a thread that this step only work for rooted phones.(I stand corrected if I had misread the comment.)

CM is AOSP and does not support ## codes. If you are changing something just Nandroid backup then flash a Sprint rooted ROM make the changes then Restore the Nandroid the changes you make to the radio excreta using the ## codes should survive the restore

Do you have the latest Radio updates installed? Other than a Radio update I have no idea what could be causing that. I would try updating the radios then if that didn't fix it I would flash a Sprint ROM and update the User profile and try sending text on that ROM. Then don't Nandroid restore just re-flash CM and test the texting again.

Where can i find the latest radio for the evo? And it seems to be working now.. its probably the airave that keeps messing up but periodically, my text messages dont go there. I'll really if you can direct me to new radio.

I think i might have just found my problem. What radio does the stock sense rom run on? Do you know? Because i tried the stock rom and it was good with texting. And also, do you know which of the updates control the strength of the wifi connection? Because my sucks and the router is in the other room. I think i need to downgrade them to the way the stock was.

There has to be an explaination for why the sense rom has better wifi reception then cyanogen.
