Android Central Question
Running S9 with Android 8.0.0
I've installed an app called BOTIM.
Gone into Settings>> Device Maintenance >> Battery >> Always Sleeping Apps and added BOTIM to this list.
This would mean that BOTIM is never suppoesed to be allowed to run in the background.
This isn't true. If I open BOTIM to use it, I constantly get a notification that tells me "An app is draining my battery". It's BOTIM. I have to go into Settings and force stop the app.
I'm forced to do this every time I use the app. Uninstalling the app is not an option. I need it.
While this app is never supposed to be allowed to run in the background (Always sleeping), why is it running in the background all the time? I've gone into the process list to verify it is indeed running.
Anybody know a fix or even what's going on?
