How to disable increasing ringtone on Huawei P20 pro?

Hi guys, i'm facing a very annoying issue with my P20 pro device. If the phone is in my pocket or in my bag, the ringtone keeps increasing up to the skies and I want to switch this off, but there is no pocket mode or increasing volume option found on my device. I know some people who have Huawei P20 pro or Mate 20 pro or P30 pro and they do NOT experience this at all. I was told by Huawei Helpdesk, that from the 9.1 android version the function which allows you to switch on or off this was integrated in to the software, therefore the option does not exist anymore in the settings of the phone. I really hate this, and I do not like the idea of not being able to change something like this on an expensive phone.
Is there anyone, who has the same issue with his P20 pro? Or is there anyone out there, who could tell me how to disable this annoying function, please?

Many thanks for your help in advance!

best regards,

Marti

Settings > Ringtones and volumes - scroll down - Ascending ringtone. Turn it off.

hi, it would be too easy if there was an option like that in the phone. Like I said, there is NO option for this in the phone unfortunately. Any other idea? zhx

I've hear that some model of Huawei have pocket mode in dialer app just tap 3 dots upper right corner see if it's in the settings there to disable?

Yes, I am aware of this option, however in my phone, it cannot be found. There is no such a setting there to disable this annoying thing.

Mine never had this option at all. :S The interesting thing is like is said that I know people having the same phone or at least the same brand (Mate 20) and they do not have this problem. The volume is not increasing when in pocket.

Can try put in safe mode and see if still happening , this will disable any 3rd party apps might be causing this .

Okay, trying it out right now. The internet says that I need to keep pressing the DOWN volume button repeatedly and it did not work to start my phone in safe mode.
I was told by Huawei Hotline that from the 9.1 android version the pocket mode is integrated in to the software, therefore this feature does not exist any longer and this is normal that I cannot get rid of the increasing ringtone. no comment....
