Using Phonax hearing aids via bluetooth with my Galaxy S20 phone, I get the really irritating audible message "when it's safe you'll first need to use your phone's screen and tap the notification then you can let the Google App access some things on your device." I've gone to every user group/online discussion i can find and still haven't found a solution. It not only appears (LOUD) at random times spooking the heck out of me, but also happens when I'm doing something important and interrupts conversations I need to respond to. I don't want or need Google Assistant and have disabled every part of it. How do you stop this intrusion?

I would double-check to make sure that the 'Hey Google' on screen-off/lockscreen is really turned off in your Assistant settings. I'd also check that the option to allow BT devices and personal results while the device is locked. Sometimes app updates (most annoyingly Maps and/or Google Auto) reset default settings and may re-enable the screen-off wake word.
