Hey all. Just got my GN2. My house doesnt always have the best sprint service so it goes into roaming often. Is there a way to prevent the roaming notification from continually coming up in the notification bar? Im getting annoyed having to clear it ever 5 mins.

Unfortunately, probably not until there's a fix via Root, just like on the GS3.

I have the same problem and I agree, it is really annoying, especially when I on wifi!

Make Sure that you have SPRINT ONLY selected for Roaming in the Mobile Network Setting.

Get a Airave from Sprint (for free). Your reception will be amazing and your battery life will greatly improve.

Wish I could do the airave where i live. No DSL.

Does anyone know, can you hook up an airave to a T1 connection?

I would imagine you could. The Ethernet just plugs right into the back of the Airave. The airave then plugs into your router.

i'm doing the airave, too and reception is great (when it's working...) seems like they've had some issues as of late.

Is the Airave something that I can pick up in stores? I'm going to check that out.

I think you can get them at Sprint stores. But if you contact Sprint directly and tell them that you have reception problems in your home, they will send you one for free. Worked for me; I sent them an email through the website.

I wish there was a way to turn off that alert. I've noticed that my SGN2 wakes up when the roaming alert comes in. This is happening a lot since Sandy rolled through NJ and Sprint service is barely there.

I'm rooted... anyone know how to get rid of the notification?
