How to do a hard reset?

I don't have my phone rooted or anything, but just wondering in the event that it does freeze and the buttons don't do anything, is there anyway to reset it other than letting the battery drain out? When my old Incredible froze, I just needed to pop the battery out and pop it back in but the DNA doesn't have a removable battery.
