How to enable Dropbox to save/view my photos?

Hi there,

I just got my Note 5. None of my photos are showing up in the Gallery and I'm pretty sure it's because I had my own SD card in my previous phones.

I use Dropbox as my photo storage. Dropbox is discontinuing their Carousel app in March. How can I enable saving/viewing my photos in Dropbox on the Note 5 or what alternatives do I have?

Thanks.

Open the Dropbox app. Hit the 3 lines icon in the top left corner. That will slide out a 3/4 width page. In the top right corner of that, hit the Gear icon. That opens Dropbox settings. Scroll down until you see "Turn on Camera Upload". That's all there is to it.
Take a test picture. It should show up in "Camera Uploads" in your Dropbox automatically. I couldn't find anything on their site saying the main Dropbox app is being discontinued, so this should help with your issue.

Camera uploads is already on. I cannot see my pics in the Gallery is the problem. Sorry if I wasn't clear.

Have you tried opening the camera and hitting the Gear icon in the top left corner, then scroll down to "Reset Settings"? It sounds like it's still "pointed" to the /ext-sd path and since this phone doesn't have an /ext-sd it should be pointed to just /sdcard instead (which is the internal memory).

Just tried it, didn't work but that doesn't surprise me since I have no pics on my Note 5 and I don't plan to copy them to the internal SD card because they'll fill the card up immediately.

Pretty sure the default Android Gallery was displaying them from my inserted SD card, seems to me I had a set of pics on the SD card and duplicates stored in Dropbox. For some reason the pics were stored in both places which is not something I set up intentionally.

OK, you can try a reset of the settings for the Camera and Gallery both? In the phone's Settings gear, scroll down to the Phone section, Applications, Application Manager, scroll right twice to the All section, scroll down to Camera, Force Stop, Clear Cache, Clear Data, back button, scroll down to Gallery, Force Stop, Clear Cache, Clear Data, back button until you're back to the Home screen, then hold the power switch until you get the Power Off menu, choose Restart.
After the phone restarts, give it a minute to rescan your media, and then see if that fixed it. I hope it does, I'm out of ideas after this. Good luck!

Tried it, no luck. This is getting very frustrating. I just downloaded QuickPic to see if I could view them in that app. No luck. This has got to be tied to the fact that my photos were stored on my own SD card + Dropbox, only thing that makes sense to me.

What is everyone else with a Note 5 using to view your photos?
