How to enable screen awakening while double tap on screen

Always I have to use power button for screen awakening. It is very hard to use. Even the low budget phone provide the basic features. I don't know how to enable this. Please help.

Install Nova Launcher. It handles gestures, and double-tap works well. (It's different than the Motorola launcher, so it might take a little getting used to, but there are a lot more things you an do with it than you can do with the stock Motorola launcher.)

Welcome to the forums. You can use the fingerprint sensor to awake/unlock your phone or enable Moto Display in the Moto app.
