I just got a nexus 6p and am wondering how to see how many contacts I have.

If you have access to a PC (or maybe from your phone's browser?), go to https://contacts.google.com/u/0/preview/all, log on to your Google account if necessary, and then scroll down to the "All contacts" section where you will see a number in parentheses.
