How to fix an echo during a phone call?

When i make a phone call the other person hears me fine, but i hear an echo of my self when i talk. can i fix this? why do i echo when making a phone call? and this isn't when on speaker phone this is just regular phone to ear.

I'd try disabling any voice/call enhancements that might be turned on (this will depend on your carrier/model) on the Call Settings, or if you're using a case, I'd try it without one (some cases in the past have been known to cause issues with the noise-reduction mic in some phones, causing echo).

My mom's had wifi calling on her s6 and I would hear an echo on my side... Was annoying!

Good point. If you're using WiFi calling it might introduce artifacts if there are network issues.

I have the same problem. call working fine on speaker but normally the caller on the other side complaining about echo problem. How had you fixed it?

Bring the phone to your carrier. About half of the echo problems are carrier problems, so only they can fix them. (The rest are room, phone design [which isn't the case with the S7E] and external devices, like speakers when using a speakerphone, or cases.)

THanks rukabt, But I have Global version of S8 not tied with any carrier.

You're getting echo on more than one carrier? Then check the other things.

I already did a factory reset, but no luck. Calls on speaker is working fine
