How to fix overlapping icons and notification bar?

On my Samsung phone my fixed bottom menu and my notification bar have an overlapping effect. Where it looks like I have two screens lying on top of each other.

I was having the same issue today. I didn't realize that when I took a screenshot on my phone and then set it as the wallpaper, I had captured the battery/date notification bar in the screen capture so I was actually seeing double because of what I had captured at the time of the capture. After I changed the wallpaper it was gone.

Ok I'll try the changing wallpaper trick. Im concerned my device moto g7 was hacked by that behavior. Is moto g7 a android 10?

Welcome to the forums. Since changing the wallpaper didn't work, what does this overlap look like? I.e. Is it a full double image, or is it like a ghost image? Do you only see it on the home screen, or do you see it regardless of the screen/app you're in?
