How to fix overlapping screens on Samsung S9

How to fix overlapping screens on Samsung s9. I suddenly lost my home screen background. It went to a black background with my apps. I readded my background screen then I suddenly had what looks like overlapping screens. Even my home screen is completely different now. Certain apps removed others I can't even remove or move to the next screen and no option to delete it into trash can. I have overlapping time, battery % ect on the very top of the screen . HELP

Welcome to the forums. Have you tried changing the wallpaper? It's possible that you used a screenshot with a previous setup included. This could be the cause for the overlapping icons and status bar symbols.

Welcome to the forums. Can you post a screenshot showing that overlap?

Welcome to Android Central! As Javier P previously replied, it sounds like an issue with a screenshot of the homescreen being used as the wallpaper, which can cause things to look duplicated. Change your wallpaper.
