how to fix SMS error Code 65535 error class 3

Both say the first thing to try is eliminating the 1 in front of any number. Perhaps that will help.

Or try dialing *228 (that updates your PRL). A change in the PRL that your phone didn't get for some reason is one of the common causes for SMS send failure on Verizon. I'm surprised their forum didn't mention it. We've had posts here before with that fix.

I have tried *228 and #228, and NOTHING. I've rebooted countless times. Cannot send out-going texts. Help! I have an old HTC sense. Checked for software updates and it says I am all up to date. HELP!
