I want to make sure I do this correctly.

I go to ROM Manager and there are a few ROMs there. I click on JT's Super Clean ROM and there are five things I can click- the ROM itself, "Puzzle Piece Lock Screen", "Stock Fascinate Mms.apk", "Verizon Visual Voicemail", and "Disable BLN".

I ran Clockworkmod and backed up my current ROM (which was basically just debloated). I used Titanium Backup to backup all of my apps. I cleared download cache. Can someone tell me what EXACTLY I need to do to properly flash this ROM? I've never done it before. Thanks so much. :)

You click the ROM. Select whether you want any extras ie:Puzzle Piece Lock Screen", "Stock FascinateMms.apk", "Verizon Visual Voicemail", or "Disable BLN".
Your phone will download the ROM and any extras you may have chosen. It will then ask if you want to backup the ROM, in your case you have already so you do not need to do this. It will also ask if you want to wipe data/cache, this is recommended. It will then ask if you want to reboot and install the ROM, yes you do. It will reboot and begin the process. Sit back have a beverage of your choice and watch the magic happen.

via rom manager: (this is from memory)

*this is assuming you are rooted, and have CWM running properly*

1. open rom manager
2. click download rom
3. choose the rom you want
4. choose whatever options you want (puzzle lock, stock messaging, etc)
5. let it download (doing this over wifi would be a good idea)
6. when it is done downloading a window will pop up asking about backing up and wiping
6a. choose to make a backup (unless you have a recent one already)
6b. choose to wipe data and cache
7. click ok

the phone will reboot into recovery and apply the rom and then boot back up

8. you now have a new clean rom running, you can apply your TiB (after reinstalling it of course) and setup your accounts, contacts, and homescreens.

:)

if you're still stuck on anything, PM me and i'll guide you through it. :)

Thanks, nope, you were pretty clear! So no real questions. But in the other thread about the ROM itself I believe it was you who mentioned that this was a "deodex"ed ROM. Do I have to do anything to get my system "deodex"ed? Or do I not worry about it and just follow your steps above?

I backed up all of my apps, I'm certain of that, but how do I make sure I backed up things like accounts, contacts, and homescreens with TiB?

the rom is deodexed, so you don't need to do anything as it's been done for you.

accounts have to be resetup and synced

contacts and calendars are all in the cloud, once you sign into your google account, they will sync back to the phone.

homescreens will always have to be setup again as i haven't found any app that is capable of saving them. LP backups will save the layouts, but they can't save the widgets, so you still need to re-add them over the broken placeholder.

I didn't realize if they were just phone contacts, they wouldn't back up. I am patting myself on the back for manually backing up my contacts to my SD Card not that long ago, so I don't think I lost a single one of my contacts.

I did notice that. Not a big deal at all. I kept it simple - I remember what I had.

Well since we're on the signature topic, when do you get one?

How exactly do u backup all the apps in TiB? i go to schedules and sync everything but when i click on the backup/restore tab, it says none of the apps are backed up.... i dont want to lose progress in angry birds so can someone please teach me how to backup all current apps? thank you!!

even with backing up, you will lose progress, as restoring the data from apps usually proves to be problematic.

but here's how you back up apps

click backup/restore
click menu
click batch
click backup all apps
???
profit

EDIT: Okay I download the superclean rom, now do i have to install a kernel? and is it better than just going stock? i dont want the voodoo kernel as i hear there are still some bugs...

You can download the non voodoo kernel the same way you did the rom, it's a jt kernel. And yes I can notice a difference.

The new loading screen is nice, only thing you might miss is the "galaxy s" part.

I wish there was a new shut off screen too.

Yes. If you had plus you'll just have to put you code back in.

if you have LP+ you can also get the plus version back by restoring your LP backup. much easier than installing that long code.

also, for kernels there's no need to wipe, and they are so much faster than the stock kernel, so i highly recommend getting one :)
