How to flash a ROM

if you have LP+ you can also get the plus version back by restoring your LP backup. much easier than installing that long code.

also, for kernels there's no need to wipe, and they are so much faster than the stock kernel, so i highly recommend getting one :)

How great really is the voodoo kernel if you get it working properly, compared to the non-voodoo kernel? And other than the uninstalling issues are there any other problems with it? And is setCPU needed?

Thanks in advance. :)

setcpu isn't needed for any of JT's kernels as they are stock clock speeds.

personally, i wouldn't bother with voodoo right now it's more trouble than it's worth.

i only installed it because i was bored, and now i'm too lazy to uninstall it.

Thanks bro, lol ya im afraid i'll get bored and install it too, but i'll prolly just wait til we can flash 2.2 and hope JIT helps like on my gf's D2. And just stick with the JT kernel until he comes out with one that can be OC'd.

Yeah i'll just stay away from Voodoo for now. :)

why would jit make voodoo pointless.
I thought voodoo is for aesthetics and jit is the compiler.
Therefore they'd be completely irrelevant of each other.

Please let me know if I am wrong though as I want to know

ok, let me clarify then, it'll make the voodoo lagfix almost pointless.

the colorfix (which i really can't see, plus i hear it only adjusts at 100% brightness, which is 1. a searchlight in terms of "ouch this hurts my eyes" and 2. kills battery faster than a masked man in a horror movie)

:)

i'll take a working JIT compiler over voodoo anyday.

but then again, we have a (kind of) working version of voodoo and no JIT, so once we get froyo (and in turn JIT) i'll want voodoo :p

I followed the instruction and now I am stuck at the boot screen. :(

My screen kept on showing me that Android Robot with some green beams (new boot animation)

I had voodoo, and just went back to stock, and flashed from that point using non-voodoo rom.

Any idea?
