How to get Pixel 7 to beep every 5 minutes until I clear reminder

I have Life Reminder app on Pixel 7 and was wondering how to get the app to beeping every 5 minutes until I clear the active reminder. In the app’s notification preference setting, I selected 5-minute reminder intervals. Also in Pixel 7 battery usage setting, I selected unrestricted battery usage for the app as I understand optimized or restricted setting might affect app’s performance. The odd thing, the 5-minute reminder interval works well on my OnePlus phone that has same app/settings but it does not work on Pixel 7 phone. What am I missing?

Look in app permissions. You may have inadvertently limited it there.

I've checked app permissions. My OnePlus and Pixel 7 phones have the same app settings so it is hard to tell why the feature works on the OnePlus phone but not the Pixel 7. Might be weird setting in Pixel 7? Can this thread be transferred to Pixel 7 forum?

Welcome to Android Central! I made you the owner of the original guest post to make it easier for you to find.

Go to Settings>Apps, select Life Reminder, then tap Notifications, and show us a screenshot of the available notification categories there: http://forums.androidcentral.com/ge...ide-how-post-screenshots-android-central.html. If the notification reminder is a separate category, and if it happens to be toggled off, that might explain this.

Screenshot attached. Setting shows two limits for notifications per week. These limits aren't from the app - it may just be the weird phone setting I mentioned in post #3. I don't see option to change limits for notifications per week so I can't test to see if that fixes problem.

Those aren't limitations -- they're estimates of how many notifications you're getting from that app's notification category per day or week.

The category list is a little weird -- I'm not sure what the Silent, [Sound, Always], and [Sound, Always, Popup] categories are. What do you see if you tap the word​ Silent (not the toggle switch)?

Here is the Silent menu. I switched between Default & Silent and tested Reminders. I get audible notification at scheduled time but I still do not get audible 5-minute reminders if I miss first notification. (where is spell check in this forum?)

It's worth sending an email to the developer to see if they're aware of this problem on the Pixel.
