how to get the update

I'm still learning. But I am running 2.07.605.0 when it leaked out, tried to reinstall the MR2 using hboot to only get the "current version newer, update failed". How do I go back to stock, so that I can get the latest update. Or is there a link for the official certified update link.

Are you rooted? If so, go to this [RUU]Gingerbread Build 2.11.605.3 Full RUU And New Radio For HTC ThunderBolt - xda-developers

And download the second one that says rooted deodexed. That's just the rom. You'll need to find the radio and update that separately. Update using clockwork mod. Good luck.

Search the forum for 2.11.605.3 or google it...its been out for quite a few days now. Its the RUU of the official OTA. It installs just like you did with the 207 version.
