How to get watch faces

If it requires a subscription, I'm out ! :p
It looks like you can buy them also. I did the intro offer to find some I like. Then I will buy the one I like and cancel the subscription.

Samsung definitely had the watchface market. They need to bring the tizen watch faces over to web is, whatever that is.

Personally, not a big fan of Facer. Tried it a couple times before and found it to be a battery hog -- I could never get a full day use on my Watch3 when Facer was installed. Had to uninstall and the problem went away.

There is a similar app in the Play Store -- WatchMaker. It claims to have over 10,000 faces available from top level designers. To get access to most of them, though, a subscription is required. I like the faces I have found there, including some from MD, but your mileage may vary.

I have only been using it for a couple of days. I’ll keep an eye on it. Were you using highly animated faces? Also white faces are harder on battery.

So far no obvious problems for me.

I used a white face on my watch 3 and I got 2 days. It's looking like 1 day is going to be pushing it on the watch 4. Web OS has never been great on battery life.

I'm still on the fence, but I got my watch from Verizon so I also get stuck with a restocking fee. Looks like I'm stuck or it's going to cost me.

Verizon gave me $250.00 off so I mind as well keep it :p

The bitmoji is my favorite watch face too. I like how it randomly changes what the moji is doing and when you listen to music your bitmoji listens to music too. Thought that was a nice touch. View attachment 336447

I know I love it gonna try it again. I am using the AR Emoji one where it points at your notification and tries to pull on the dot. I like how the Bitmoji changes as you turn your wrist once I customized it I thought it didn't change anymore but just tried it and it does so I'll use it for a while now. But AR one cute too!

I did get an animated gif through texting and not sure if it was like that on my A2. I wish FB messenger was different though. But G board is great hard to swype but still better to respond to a text with keyboard before I think I only had option to speak with mic or draw I don't remember seeing keyboard but maybe I just overlooked it on my A2. And I was somewhere last night and I kept hitting the mic to reply and it was stuck on initializing and wouldn't work. Maybe my signal I don't know.

But the other day Samsung pay worked great at Kohls for the 1st time trying it after Walmart didn't work. So I set it up on my watch thinking I won't set up Google Pay just yet but now I hate that my watch makes me put in the pin all the time. Can I turn Samsung Pay off until I want to use it and leave NFC off until then. Does NFC drain battery more?

NO. Never used any animated watch faces. Found them too distracting. Only used faces that were digital and made background calls to things like weather, steps, heart rate, etc from the paired phone. With Facer running, I rarely go more than 10-12 hours of battery life. Once uninstalled, I always got at least 24-36 hours.

Never went back to re-try.

Do you use watch maker

Do you use watch maker

Yes, I am using Watch Maker. So far, I am pleased with it. Has lots of interesting watch faces and relatively straightforward to install them to the watch.

Acknowledge it is a subscription service, but at least for the first year, less that $3.00 per month. I have seen watch faces that were $2.49 or more each in the old Galaxy Store, so for me, it seems to be a fair cost/benefit trade off.
