How to have game progress be same on phone and tablet?

I just got a new tablet and signed in with my Google account, downloaded the 3 games I play, but it doesn't show me on the same level as on my phone. I don’t play through Facebook, either.

I searched here and Googled and tried to understand if there's a way to make sure I'm on the same level on both devices, but can't figure it out. I don’t understand about “rooted” or not, so please speak basic English for us non-techy old ladies, please, with detailed instructions for Dummies.

Hello!

The apps that you have downloaded depending on what they are may, or may not support Google Play Games. Thats how games on Android sync together if the game supports it. If your playing a game (this is a most uncommon one) like King of Thieves, it syncs your game to and from other devices via Google Play Games and also saves it in the cloud. Android doesn't exactly have a system like apple where EVERYTHING goes through iCloud and syncs to your other devices. So if your games don't support Google Play Games, then your kind of stuck. Could you tell me what games you are playing so I can confirm your problem?

Having the same problem playing PGA tour .. Tryed to sync ma phone to ma tablet but need to start all over again any ideas how to help ??????

Tryed the apps but need details a not got..
Asked for ma samsung phone details but not onthe list ...???
