How to I get my Tab Pro 8.4 to show up on my network?

I know on my playbook I had to go into settings and allow it to share but I'm not sure how to do this on the Tab Pro 8.4?

That was one of the best features of the playbook! Unfortunately, it just doesn't work that way with Android. You can get an app called wifi file explorer that is the closest that I can find to that feature.
