I'm trying to import my download into an app. It says to goto download manager and I'll have the option to import but I goto my files folder but dint see any option to import to this app. Even when I click move I don't see the app.

What do you mean by importing a download into an app? What are you downloading--a document?

If you can't upload your download into an app, just click at App Support or Contact...

The app is a genetics app and I want to upload my 23andme raw data in to it. The instructions say goto download manager and click import but I don't see how.

" In the downloads manager, click to open the file, and an option to import it into DIYgenomics should appear."

I've never encountered that before. First, are you opening the Downloads app? It wouldn't be Download Manager--that's a system app that isn't accessible to the user. Second, is the data file in the correct format for your genetics app? I'm not sure if it would say "Import"--it might be more like "Open file with ..." or "Complete action with ..."

I can't find a downloads app just a my files section. Where do I find the downloads app?

Open your App Drawer--it should be there. If you don't see it, make sure you didn't disable the Download Manager. Go to Settings>Apps>All or Settings>Apps>Disabled, and look there for Download Manager. If it's disabled, tap on it and tap Enable.

Sometimes you have to click the share button. Then you can "share" it with your app.

Nothing called app drawer in all or disabled section.

The App Drawer is the grid of all installed apps. It's what comes up when you tap on the App Drawer icon in your Favorites Tray, along the bottom of the homescreen (the circle or square with a grid of dots).

Hmm, maybe that's another thing Samsung insists on doing differently. If you use My Files and navigate to the Download folder, what happens if you long-press the file?

I noticed a lot of recent complaints in reviews on their Google Play app page, so it might be a problem with the app itself. Have you emailed their support: support@diygenomics.org
