so how many times did you have to reboot to get from 100% to ~0%? I've rebooted a few times to drop battery life, but I only lose maybe about 1% each time

Like asking the old owl how many licks it takes to get to the center of a tootsie roll tootsie pop! :) (God, I hope there are some out there as old as I that remember this!)

When you get there, you'll know.

lol. i with you.

lol.. I had to ask. in the OP it seemed like it only took like 3 tries. I didn't want to spend an hour constantly rebooting my phone. I've got better things to do!

thanks for the responses!

I would think the best way to drain the battery would be to play a streaming movie over wifi, with the screen at a high brightness.

it would. but one thing that restarting the phone does is it makes the phone look at the battery again. you will notice that will get inconsistant numbers every time you restart. that being said, if you are feeling squeriely, give that a try and let us know how things turn out.

GunnerMike53 as if I don't spend enough time messing around with this phone already. You go and post this!

God damn it I am watching Reboot process closer than I would a child!

When you wipe batt stats and dalvik I knoticed that after I wiped dalvik it says it at the bottom of cwm (wipe dalvik) but it doesnt say that for batt stats.... I did it like 3 times.....should it say it if it really wipes?

You can't wipe battery stats in cwm. It is not working. If you are running superclean 2.6 or higher it includes Adrynalyne's battery stat script. You have to download terminal emulator from the market, open it up, type su next to the $ sign, should say super user permission granted and you should see a # sign. Next to the # sign type bstats. After a few seconds you phone will reboot. Make sure to only do this when the battery is completely charged to 100%. Do that by charging to 100%, turn phone off with charger still attached, charge to 100% while off, turn on, let it charge to 100% again, then run terminal emulator. If you are not running sc 2.6 or higher you can download the bstat file from the first post of Adrynalyne's superclean thread here:

I did exactly like you said. And I just tried to open terminal emulator and no matter how many times I try to open it, I' getting FC's. Did I do it wrong? is there more than one terminal emulator program?

Download the one entitled android terminal emulator.

There may be, I can't remember for sure. The icon for the one I have looks like a computer screen with a gray border.

Yea there are a few with that same icon. I had the same FC issue then just went and got the other free one.

So this will be my first post, I have read through this entire post, so if this info is redundant I am sorry. I have found that charging the phone with it powered on will not let the phone achive a full charge, but powered off it will, here is my method and it seems to have helped out a lot. Charge the phone till it says fully charged (phone on) then without unplugging it turn phone off it will then charge for another 5 maybe 10 min then it will say fully charged, turn on and the battery will actually be 100 percent. I ran the phone down to about 90 percent and cycled it again (three times in all) The results are actually pretty good, I left the phone alone from 7 a.m. this morning till now midnight, I answered a couple of calls sent acouple texts, and about 5 mins of browser that was it and my battery is setting at 83 percent, before doing this my battery would have been down to 60-65 percent just my two cents hope it helps out someone as much as this site has helped me out

Adrynalyne over at xda has a script to clear the battery stats. According to him the CWM red does not remove the battery stats file but his script does. I was having the battery not last as long when I went to EB01. Installed and ran his script and things are better now. No I did not try the CWM way as it looked like there were mixed results.
