How to input photo note in text?

When looking at a image inside Gallary app in Samsung S4, I can choose menu>photo note, to write a note using the "handwriting" input.

Is it there a way to type a note in text instead of handwriting?

I don't think there is a way to use the keyboard to input the text. A workaround is to use a Note taking app such as Keep to write the note and upload the picture as a reference.

What do you mean by "upload the picture"? How to do that?

Odd you have handwriting on the S4.
If perchance you have a Signature option as well, as on my Note 3, thats how I type on the photo in a supplied box. Photo Note puts handwriting on the back.

Thats is a great function. I think it only appears in Note 3, I do not have that in my S4. Is there an app that can do that?

Probably not then. I only offered because I was surprised Photo Note was on the S4, so thought Signature would be too.
They maybe changed the terminology for the Note 3.

I would ask or search the S4 forums though. I can't tell without seeing the menus or having one in my hand.
