I want to program my phone to call my office, pause for 2 seconds and then enter the code to get into my voicemail. I can't seem to find a way to do this.
A quick Google search said something about using a coma to do this but this doesn't seem to work.
I'm using an S10+ if that's relevant.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I think there's some problem with links again. I was trying to direct you to the following info
Samsung Galaxy S10 - Add a Contact
From a Home screen, swipe up or down from the center of the display to access the apps screen.
Note These instructions only apply to Standard mode and the default Home screen layout.
Tap Contacts Contacts icon.
Tap the Plus icon + (lower-right).
If presented, select an account (e.g., Phone, Google, etc.).
Enter any of the following info then tap SAVE (upper-right):
Note Depending upon the account type, the options presented may vary.
Name
Work
Phone
Note To add a pause (a 2-second delay between numbers) or wait, tap *+# then tap Pause or Wait.
Email

See the part that refers to a pause at let me know if that helps?

I do this in Google calendar all the time:

A comma puts a 2 second pause in before moving on.

A semicolon gives you a prompt--"dial 123456# now?" where you can say either OK or cancel.

With that in the calendar entry, I can open the calendar app and see it--and more importantly, the Samsung dialer also sees it and lets me tap on it to call.

Thanks but no luck.

I did the "*" and the "," thing and it still didn't add a pause.

I don't know what dialer or contact manager you're using, but the built in Samsung stuff works great.

When you program a phone number, Samsung gives you a number pad. The right side row of that number pad, beside the numbers, has some extra buttons. The third one down is labeled *+#. Touch that.

Now the number pad changes to a different set of symbols in the grid. Second column, second and third buttons down in that grid, are Pause(,) and Wait(;).

That's it. That's all there is to it. You put a pause in the number then continue putting in your VM codes and whatnot.

What about this doesn't work? I don't understand. It works perfectly.

That you everyone. I finally got it to work. Yes, the coma inserts the two second pause. Perfect.

Again, thanks for the help.
