How to install a custom ROM?

I've done a quick search and couldn't find anything. Is there a how to guide for installing custom ROM's on the Incredible. Yes, I am already rooted and have done my backup.

The easiest way is to do it through ROM manager or you can just boot into recovery and wipe your data and cache. Then select apply update zip then select the ROM you placed on the root of your sdcard. Most developers have instructions on how to install their ROM.

There's an app called root explorer paste the file in system/media

It depends. You need to find out from the ROM cook where he puts the files. IIR, the stock location was system/data. Skyraider puts his in system/media.
