I have a GPS mapping software called Co-Pilot. The United States map is over 1 gb. I want to stored it on my SD card instead of the device storage. How do I do that? Thanks.

If its supported just go into settings and app manager or whatever it's called and go down to that app click on it and it should show that option.

Here's what Samsung has:
You can save room on your device by moving Android™ applications to your microSD™ card; from the Home screen, touch Menu Menu Key > SettingsSettings Icon > General More Settings Icon > Application manager App Manager Icon . Swipe to the right to access the SD™ CARD screen. A green check mark indicates the application has been moved to the memory card. Touch the app and select Move to SD card, or if the app is already on the memory card, select Move to device storage.

Note: If the Move to SD card option is grayed out or you do not see the application listed, the application cannot be moved to the microSD card.
Move Using Task Manager

You can also move applications using the Task manager by pressing and holding the Home Home key key for one to two seconds, and then touching Task manager . Touch the Downloaded tab and select the app you want to move. Touch Move to SD card to move the app to the memory card.

You need to open the app via system settings > applications > app and see if the option is there. But are you sure the maps download to the phones app storage or internal SD card? I would think it downloads to the SD card with that type of file sizes.
