I want to test an app with an older versions of Chrome to see the behavior.
Where can I find old APKs for Chrome?

And how to install them...do I need to uninstall Chrome from the phone first?

Aptoide also works with no root. http://en.aptoide.com Just make sure Unknown Sources is enabled on your phone. Also, watch out for any fake apps that might be on there; I'd recommend you have an antivirus program ready.

Tried aptoide but am getting "uninstall unsuccessful" when I try downgrading Chrome. Guess I need to root the phone first.

That's strange because it works fine on my Samsung tablet with no root. I would just try uninstalling updates from Settings > Apps and then installing the version in Aptoide.

Also, if your phone came with Chrome preinstalled as a system app, I don't think you can downgrade it lower than the version it came with (unless, of course, you root).

I think this is what I'm seeing. It's preinstalled even when doing a factory reset. I soft bricked the phone while trying to root it though :D.
Hopefully can fix it and downgrade Chrome.

Well, I rooted an S4 but no luck on getting older versions of Chrome working.
I can install with aptoide but when I try opening the app there is an error "Unfortunately, Chrome has stopped". Clearing the data and cache of Chrome doesnt help.

With apkmirror I can't even install it - "Install failed".

Are there other options for installing old Chrome versions?
