How to intercept File access requests?

[Android Central Question]

I would like to log the requests and change file contents when sharing the files. Ex: gmail uses file explore to share files as attachments. When file requests triggered by any app any possibility to intercept those requests.?

Welcome to Android Central! Can you clarify further what you're trying to do? I'm guessing this wouldn't be possible, simply as a security measure.
