Well, I'm not married. Don't have a boyfriend either... But I'll take a shot at this anyway.

Tell her that you love her as often as you can. I know sometimes guys just assume that we know you love us, but it's nice to hear it too. Affection is amazing.

Try your best to notice the details... Little things like a new hair do or a nice shirt and tell her she's lovely.

Help around the house. Do the best you can when you help. If she's tired, step in and say "Honey I'll take care of it."

Have a damn good sense of humor. It's sexy... At least for me anyway.

Surprise her with random things... Like a flower arrangement... Or a special night out...

Be fun and remember that a relationship is team work and love. No one is perfect, but you can make each other's world a little more perfect

I'll take a shot at this one, my wife and I have been married for almost 22 years. My parents were happily married for over 35 till my dad passed away. Think about this first, then I'll write my list. The best marriage is one you don't get out of alive.

1) I keep my wife in high regard

2) In all things I respect her opinion, feelings.

3) Keep eye contact while in a conversation, 1 its respectful, 2 it actually shows you are paying attention.

4) If she is working on a particularly difficult or stressful task offer to help, or take over. If neither is possible, wash the dishes or sweep and mop the kitchen floor. Do not run the sweeper, if she's stressed things just might fly across the room if you make a lot of noise.

5) At some point make her the most important person in your life everyday.

6) Take the kids and or pets to the park/pool and just give her some quiet (her) time to take a long bath or even sit and read a book or magazine for awhile.

I, for one, get a big grin on my face when I hear "I love you." It's just one of those things that can turn a miserable day around... For me....

I don't know why some women respond like that, to be honest lol. My brother's wife is the type to get suspicious when he does something nice. And he's like "I love her. I don't understand her AT ALL, but I love her." lol.

LOL That picture pretty much sums it up. Men are simple creatures and pretty easy to please. That's why you'll never see a thread titled: How to keep a man happy?

On the other hand women are very much like that control panel with all the dials you have to try to set just right. Even when you do, it's short lived, something changes and you're back at it again. It's a never ending cycle. Argh!
