OK...

I just reflashed the ROM using CWM after a wipe and it booted up. I then went BACK to CWM, wiped and reinstalled the original kernel (comavolt). Everything is back up and running, HOWEVER, when I select the wipe data/factory reset, I get a long scrolling error message:

E:cant mount/dev/block/stl10
(No such file or directory)
Error mounting /datadata/!
Skipping format...
Formatting CACHE...
Formatting SDEXT...
E:cant mount /dev/block/mmcblk0p2
--same as above--
E:cant mount /dev/block/stl11
--same as above--

BUT, if I select apply sdcard:update.zip and THEN wipe, it works. But I have to select update.zip each time or it wont let me wipe!!

ANY OF THIS MAKE SENSE!!??

I have the new CWM. None of this started til I installed that craptastic overclocking kernel. Im running Blackhole 4.4 with Comavolt now. Both of these are CWM installed. I think Im gonna Odin flash 2.9.2 without wiping data first and see if that works. But I REALLY REALLY like this Blackhole interface. I may then reflash Blackhole if I can get 2.9.2 to work right first!

I will update shortly!

goodluck....dont overclock lol

Good luck bros..Sounds like you got your plan straight..Sometime starting fresh is the best way to go..

how far can you get now..are you able to get to a functional phone, or are you in a boot loop?

I often say I am a product of my failures..So you may unfortunately be joining my team bros..

With that said, IT'S CRUCIAL to read the instructions with this stuff before you flash things.. It's exciting I know to have free stuff to try out, but these are complex puzzles..

The post in XDA states clearly not to "WIPE DATA" before flashing Blackhole 4.4 or you'll get a bootloop.

[ROM][4/15/11]Blackhole[4.4] - xda-developers

With that said some tough love.. I would read the entire thread over there and search for an answer to your situation.. It probably could be resolved by reflashing the eco1 kernel, but I would highly recommend searching that thread...surely someone has made the same mistake.. if you don't get answers head back here.

I flashed the ec01_sbrissen_mod zip, I'm tryin to get the 4 tab lock screen ..after flashing, I only have 2 lock screen options in my settings(down from 5 originally) and there's no 4tab option ..is there an option in the settings that I'm missing?

DXC sent me some info. Im just going to completely start over. Going to go back to DI01, then do the OTA update to 2.2, THEN reflash me a ROM and a GOOD kernel. We will see shortly!

Thanks for all the help!

check team sbrissen mod in that menu, then click lockscreen application and pick something you want linked to it.
