Since you flashed ComaVolt kernel after you flashed 2.9.2, you are now runnning ComaVolt.

As long as you flashed nonvoodoo 2.9.2, then flashed the nonvoodoo kernel for ComaVolt your okay.
ok so i just tried to go from comavolt to imnuts -50 voodoo kernel, I wipe dalvik twice and wipe partition twice, then rebooted phone. now it is stuck on boot animation screen for about ten minutes now. Can someone please help me with a solution here?
Put comavolt back on, boot all the way up, then to recovery, partition and dalvik wipes, then reinstall imnuts again...maybe?

Same advice shoestring just gave. If you read imnuts thread over at XDA you would see you are not alone with having trouble to load his kernels. Some phones just don't do well with and can't handle undervolted kernels. However, I will say this. Whatever times_infinity does differently, I have gotten the best performance with his kernel, and I have noticed the fewest problems posted in his thread. Not directly endorsing one over the other, just relating my experience and my observations. As always, YMMV (your mileage may vary)

If you clicked on the theme developer's name next to the theme name so you could check out the developer's OP over at XDA and see screenshots or special instructions, you would have seen that the title of the thread and OP have been changed to the following:
Default [OLD]Dont dig this up any more. DELETED
Links are down and I had an os crash so the theme doesn't exist anymore. Sorry, I'm working on something right now though.
I highly recommend nitros honeycomb.
JaeKar - Can you remove this theme from your list? Thanks.
i see. thanks landShark one again. i totally forgot to click on the Dev's name. do you know if it is safe to flash the Nitro Honeycomb theme on top of SC29.2 even though it does not say it made for it. The Dev's page says its for EC01?
I'm using the Black Alien 2.1 theme which also says EC01 and it works fine on my SC 2.9.2 so I think you will be fine trying it out, in worst case scenario it doesn't work and you may have to reflash etc. Best case... It works and you enjoy your new theme

All of Nitro's stuff seems rock solid. I don't see why it would be a problem. EC01 and EB01 are both Froyo ROMs. I think you are more likely to run into a problem trying to run an old theme on top of a new ROM.
I have Nitros Honeycomb EC01 v4.1 over 2.9.2 and it looks good. No problems so far...

I've been running it with 2.9.2nv just fine. Very stable.. However, he(nitro) just came out with 4.2, and it has some features I fancy..
With that said,
Has anyone noticed any difference in the undervolted (50mv) ED01 kernel (imnuts) versus the times infinity EC10 undervolted? Is there a consensus on which is better?
If I go ED01 undervolted will it clash with Nitro 4.2?? Seems the consensus is that EC01 was ED01, but I"m dyslexic and may be thinking of EC10..

I have used both voodoo and nonvoodoo ComaVolt kernels they are about -75 mv under volted and the imnuts are -50 and -100 mv respectively.. there is no consensus on which is better - usually one kernel just runs better given the phone you have and the ROM you are running.. One just has to try one out and see if it suits your usage needs.
The kernel choice will have no effect on the function of the theme or vice versa..
I would tend to agree that EC01 is ED01 and to clarify EC10 was the source code leak for the mesmerize phone.

One more ?..do the same rules apply to re-flashing the ROM after about two or three theme flashes, even if your flashing the same theme, just different versions. I.e. Nitrodark 4.0 to 4.x. I realize these are full themes (around 44mb) each time, and thusly I would deduce, to be safe that you should.....
Nitro seems to update his themes pretty frequently...

It is not required.. the only time you have to reflash a full ROM is if the theme you just applied does not fully overwrite what you had on previously, and you want to ensure that you want a clean base to start with... if you are flashing nitro work over nitro work I would guess that you will not need to go back to base ROM..
If you were to go nitro to a smaller (shallower) themed option you will likely see some residual theme artifacts.. then you may want to start at a clean base.

i am trying to dl the evil fascination rom to the sd card on my phone, but when i hit the link on mediafire it dosn't bring up the save as pop up. it just opens another tab to
d3.zedo.com. i even tryed the ec01 debloated rom and it gave me the save as pop up.

I flashed imnuts 100uv today just to see if his new versions would be more stable.
I locked up everytime 3 mins after boot on his earler 100uv, so I figured my phone can't handle 100.
Going on 4 hrs now on 100 and no locks after numerous reboots and couple of quadrants.
His new 100 is all good for me now.
Also today, I flashed nitros evil ec01 rom w/o doing any of the stuff in adrys post, just straight flash over 292. No reflashing modem or kernel, or disable lagfix. It worked good for me. No issues. The theme on the rom is very similar to his nitrodark theme if not the same. I have flashed themed market and fonts and changed boot and shutdown anis, all good.
