How to lock screen for accidentally removing items on the desktop?

Sometimes you accidentally remove items you've been using frequently on the desktop.

Is there a way to prevent this?

What phone do you have? Most stock launchers don't include this option and you'd need to use a custom one like Nova.

As far as I know that option is not included in the Note 4 launcher. You could try using Nova.
