How to make a live dock wall paper?

I am a minimalist with my widgets. But I do like them to overlap. at present I am using a self made clock widget (thanks to UCCW) & using NOVA launcher ( which allows widget overlapping on Android) to make it overlap with my transparent task list (thanks to Business calendar. Now I do like the amazing customizability of Nova but lately I am feeling that it is still an additional burden on phone battery, RAM and Cpu temperature.

So are their apps that can help u build My own wallpaper live ****

However, it looks like it can be quite daunting. A decent amount of coding, and needing the Android Studio on your PC.
