How to Make Honeycomb Browser load Desktop, not Mobile

Google should have simply faked the user agent out of the box. It's not difficult, just make up a Linux distro name for Honeycomb that is not "Android" (like buzzy bee or something).

Any way for us users to get in there and fake it so we don't have to re-fake it every session?

I agree. It's very frustrating to get mobile versions of websites on a tablet. That doesn't happen with Safari on the I pad. I also notice that Facebook think the XOOM is an Aria :-)

another thing u can do is use dolphin browser and set UA to desktop, no need to do about:debug all the time. also if u want to visit sites that have html5 for ipad, you can set the us to ipad and get html5 which runs smoother, instead of flash.

I found "desktop" made scrolling and page loading hesitate to the point it was almost unusable. Selecting "I pad" made it run smooth again.
