how to play the music I've downloaded in my dropbox

I can't seem to play the music i have downloaded into my drop box. do i need to transfer it to my own LG G3 file first?

If the mp3(?) files are located on your phone, then all musing players can play them.
If the files are located on the internet share sites like Dropbox, OneDrive, etc, some players can see them while some cannot.
Which music player are you using?
