How To Prevent Calls and Notifications from Interrupting Music

Galaxy S5 Active 5.1.1 - Incoming Calls and Notifications Interrupt Music. If "Sound" and "Do Not Disturb" are turned OFF, the generic Samsung music player no longer interrupts the music but 3rd party music players (like Radsone) still interrupt. Do the experts here have any solution?

Welcome to Android Central! How many different 3rd party music players have you tried? This strikes me as something on the developer side. You could also try emailing some of those music player devs and ask them if they can update the app to prevent the interruptions.

I have tried a number of music players: Poweramp, Maple, N7 and others.
After originally posting this problem, I searched on the forums and there
were NUMEROUS users complaining about this same issue. This appears
to be a Samsung OS issue and the only work around I have found so far is
"airplane mode". I was hoping someone on this forum may have discovered
another fix that would allow silent or vibrate notifications WITHOUT halting
the music.

Seems the wizards at Google could figure this out @ the OS Level. Probably not on their RADAR since mentality in tech world is that everyone wants to be updated by everything and everyone by everything and everyone instantly. I can wait till end of my song to find out that A liked B's like of C' s comment about D's status change.
