I've heard things from here and there on what to do to protect my GS6's battery life span and I'm kinda getting confused now :-\ and even a bit paranoid. Since I'm planning to keep my phone for about 3 years (maybe even more) I wanna know how to protect the life span of my phone. Tips?

EDIT: Yes I've tried the Search button...

Avoid high temperatures, since that will shorten the life of a battery. The best way to do that is to not use the included rapid charger. Just use a regular charger. Hard saying if it will last three years even if you are careful. If anyone responds regarding a sequence of charge/discharge to avoid "memory effect", you can disregard it since memory effect was only ever a problem with early Nicad batteries from 40 years ago, when they were used on early satellites.

Thanks for the link, did not see that, will try and ask once I get my hands on my S6

EDIT: but hopefully @erasat would see my post before I get my phone :D
He is on pretty often. Send him a PM.

I have read a few things on the rapid charger...

Don't believe it will effect long term battery life as the phone was designed to incorporate this tech
