How to put a Custom Rom on Droid Razr Maxx with Project Lense Boot Menu Manager?

I am using Boot Menu Manager Version 0.3.4 on my Droid Razr Maxx.

I have tried putting AOKP build 5, and Liquid-JB-v2.1-RC2-spyder on my phone, by going into recovery then, selecting Install from Zip, It does the install, and I reboot the phone, and after it says Booting... it turns to a black screen and never does anything. Then I have to go back to recovery and restore my orginial backup.

Does anyone know why it isn't working to put these roms on my phone? I would really like to have AOKP build 5, but I'm running Jellybean 4.2.1 (98.72.16.XT912.Verizon.en.US) and I cannot get ClockworkMod to work on my phone, I downloaded the Touch apk, and then Booted into recovery and clicked Install ZIP and it says Installation failed, and bricks my phone.

If anyone knows if I'm missing something, please help me out!

-- I also, wipe the device, and cache everytime I try to install.
