Last year I changed phones. I had done the proper steps for a whatsapp backup but lost a month's data. For some reason those messages didn't come back. Corrupted data or something I guess.
I saved those backup files though. I have a bunch of files (5 or so) that were in the whatsapp directory in my phone, which are named something like:
msgstore-2017-12-13.1.db.crypt12
I believe there's 4 which are named like this, with different dates, and one simply named
msgstore.db.crypt12
Anyway, there's some data in that one month that I'd really like to get. Is there some way to try to restore that on my PC?
