I dont know if this is the proper way to clean the touchscreen or not, so i went ahead and tried it, now my droid doesnt work any more, any ideas?   :D

Yeah just do that with some of that orange scented hand cleaner with the sand in it and those finger prints should come off no problem. If that doesnt work you could always try a 2500 Psi pressure washer.

an autoclave is the only real way. ;)

short of that, i just use this bottle of screen cleaner stuff i had lying around for my monitors and tv.

that plus a microfiber cloth seem to work just fine

Same here.

i think that phone is a dummy,

I hope so! I've been babying the heck out of my Droid since I got it haha. Let my girlfriend play around with it when I first got it (she had no idea how to use it haha) and she dropped it. Heart jumped into my throat for a second. It landed on soft carpet thank God!

Its not a dummy, was a good phone. Now it doesn't work anymore. I don't know what to do  :D
Nope not a dummy

i use my pants.

Arizona jeans to be precise... only the finest linen for such a fine phone.
