How to remove group conversation when I'm the admin. LGG3

I am the admin on a group text. I can't get rid of the conversation in my messages. We no longer need the group and I have removed everyone else from the group but just can't get rid of it on my LGG3. The original group text can't be deleted from my messages. How do I get rid of it?As Admin to this group I was able to remove everyone except myself. There is no way to delete the group from my phone. It doesn't show up in my contact list so I can't just delete the contact. Help.

What kind of message is it (SMS, email, instant message)?
Which messaging app?

There is no way to remove people from an SMS group message.

You can remove members from the group using your Contacts app, but that is not necessary. Deleting the group itself is done in the "groups" tab (far right?) of the LG Contacts app.

You should be able to delete the conversation thread just like any other message thread.
