How to remove the SIM card and move to a new phone for LG V20?

[AC Question]

A new phone was ordered by Verizon since the initial phone I received had a defective microphone and others could not hear my voice on a phone call. I received the replacement phone and want to transfer the SIM card and battery to the new phone.

The instructions are good but its difficult to get the SIM card with just your fingers.

I used a toothpick, just push it with that. Be careful though.
