how to reset if I have issues

My past 2 phones were LG when I had issues I just popped the back off, pulled the battery and restarted. I've forgotten what to do with a non removable battery device if something goes wrong. If the phone freezes up... what is the procedure to reboot it?

You should be able to press (and hold) the power and volume down buttons until the screen goes off and the phone give a little vibrate. Then you should be able to turn it back on.

Or just hold the power button in for about 15-30 seconds until it restarts. (You don't have to turn it off unless some hardware is stuck.)

Shutdown and clear cache partition on startup.

Reset preference settings
Device Maintenance will have a log of crashes etc.

Factory reset and setup w/o restore is 100% to eliminate software, anything corrupt or old or brought over. And insure fresh copies are installed rather than from backup.
