How to restore MMS in CM7 on a Sprint MVNO called Ting?

I know that in a stock Android ROM on the Optimus S, I can change the MMS profile on the phone that is set to the URL, mms.sprintpcs.com, to another URL so long as I can enter the phone dialer and enter the ##data# code and know the MSL number.

My question is:

On CM7, the ##data# code does not work in the phone dialer that brings of LG's secret menu. Is there another way to gain access to this menu or some other way to change the MMS URL to a different URL? The reason why I need to is that I'm on a Sprint MVNO called Ting, which has a different URL for MMS. And now, the MMS no longer functions correctly after applying the CM7 ROM.

Not that I'm aware of.

Long press and add a custom shortcut. Pick activity, choose Adw activities, navigate to settings, then pick apn

Thanks for the custom shortcut link, makes it alot easier to edit it. I am unable to send and receive messages. I have gone into APN and have 3 options Sprint (0), Sprint (1) and USSC (internet). The only one of these with the old sprint url was Sprint (1) which i changed. It now says that my message is sent but noone is receiving it. Should I change them all to mms.plspictures.com? should i have to edit the proxy or port?

Once your Optimus S is confirmed to be activated and you have voice, text messaging and 3G data working, you'll need to manually program MMS capability.

Before you begin, please log into your account at Ting.com. In the ting dashboard, select your device, and ensure you have checked off "Can send & receive picture & video messages".

Open the dialer
Dial # #3282# (# #DATA#) from the dialer
Select "MMSC"
Touch "Edit"
Enter your Master Subsidy Lock (MSL) (a six digit code provded to you by Ting)
Touch "Set URL"
Enter "http://mms.plspictures.com"
Touch "OK"
Send a test MMS message to activate
MMS should now be enabled and functional.
