how to restore using titanium backup pro

[Android Central Question]

Hi, I have an old moto e4 plus that got into a bootloop and i had to restore it to factory setting. I had titanium backup pro 8.4.0.2 prior and I set it to automatically back up all files and settings every week to my sd card. So right now I installed the same titanium app and I am going to the restore tab to restore all apps and user settings, however i don't see anything to restore. I have set the backup location to the folder on my sd card but it looks like titanium doesn't pick up anything from it. How do I get titanium to recognize the files in my sd card (there are a lot of files, it looks like each app that I backed up before has 3 files: a tar.gz, apk,gz, and .properties file- is this what the backup folder should contain?). Any help is greatly appreciated!

thank you for your replies and the guide. it turns out i just click select when i point tb to that folder but didn't click on detect so it didn't know the backups are in there. I will now attempt to back up and come back with further questions if any!
