I know you saidit will bring it back to like when he pulled it out of the box....but just so I don't worry about anything, it removes CWM as well correct?![]()
Yep, CWM will be gone and he will be back to stock recovery. Everything will be stock like from the factory. ROM, kernel, modem, recovery, data, apps ... the whole 9 yards, and with no root any longer. His phone will be totally stock, and he'll be able to accept and install official OTA updates again.
Edit - One thing I forgot to mention. This won't be "exactly" like taking it out of the box. His internal storage will be untouched. So his pictures, music, or anything else on the internal sdcard should still be there. Always good practice to make backups before flashing though.
