I've never rooted or ROM'ed a phone before, but I've noticed a substantial performance difference with UnNamed. Better battery life, all the goodies of the ROM. I actually have a bit higher speeds on standard network and wifi as well. But....OMG.....the difference in transition timing is like night and day between touchwiz and UnNamed. I hated touchwiz, but loved the phone. It's even better now with root and unnamed.
